Veterans Education Program

The Veterans Education Program was established through the NSW Office for Veterans Affairs in November 2018. The program assists eligible veterans to follow new civilian career paths by funding the enrolment fees of courses to be studied at TAFE NSW.

What courses can be funded through the Veterans Education Program?

The Veterans Education Program funds courses included in the Smart and Skilled program to be studied at TAFE NSW. The Smart and Skilled program includes 1400 courses ranging from a Cert I through to Advanced Diploma and you need to have a course selected before applying for funding through the Veterans Education Program.

How many Smart and Skilled courses can I get funding for?

If you are eligible to apply for funding through the Veterans Education Program you will receive funding for one course only.
