Griffith University Veterans College recognises the valuable leadership, skills and lived experience that current and former Australian Defence Force members bring to the community. The College provides dedicated pathways, tailored support and opportunities to help veterans translate their military experience into higher education and future career opportunities. 

Through the Veterans Direct Application pathway, eligible veterans can apply directly to most Griffith undergraduate degrees free of charge. Applications are assessed using a selection rank based on military training, service and other qualifications. Eligible postgraduate applicants can also apply directly through Griffith without paying an application fee. Veterans who have completed Armed Services General Training and have at least 12 months of service may be eligible for a Griffith University selection rank, providing access to a range of undergraduate degrees. With over 160+ online degrees available, there are options for a large selection of study options and areas of study.

The Veterans College team includes veterans and military-connected staff who understand the unique challenges and opportunities associated with military service and transition. They provide personalised support from enquiry and application through to graduation. Through these dedicated initiatives, Griffith Veterans College is helping make higher education more accessible for veterans and supporting successful transitions into new careers and opportunities.
